Many people are unable to understand their application's status. They occasionally contact BLS customer service to inquire about their status. However, the article that follows will simplify your life and provide you with all the information you need to monitor the status of your application.

How to track your application status?

  1. Visit BLS track your application

  2. Submission Type

    • Postal application ( The application which was submitted using courier)

    • Walk-in application

  3. Application Type

    • Passport

    • Visa

    • OCI

    • Attestation

    • PCC

  4. Passport Number

    • If related to passport surrender, mention Indian passport number.

    • If related to OCI or visa, mention Canadian or foreign passport number

  5. Enter the captcha

What are the status updates:

  1. Under Process

    • It illustrates that your application is good, and it has been accepted.

  2. In-transit from BLS office to Consulate general.

  3. Processing at consulate

    • at the middle of the application processing, you might see some status like in-sufficient /in-complete status

      • It means, the application has some issue and it has been returned to BLS office, Stating document missing or mistake in the application form. (for these queries you can contact info@blsindia-canada.ca)

      • After fixing the error, again the status will be changed to processing at consulate.

  4. In-transit from Consulate general to BLS office

  5. Ready for collection or Ready for dispatch

Despite paying the courier, some people have problems with the Ready for Collection status:

  • No need to worry there will be a status update on the comment section, stating a 12 digit number which starts from 608X-XXXX-XXXX, It means the document is dispatched from the respective office and you can track on the Purolator Tracking Website

  • Incase courier paid but no status or comment update, then please contact info@blsindia-canada.ca
