Documents Required for Passport Renewal - Adult

1. Application Form – Duly filled and signed

2. Annexure E – Duly filled and signed

3. Indian Passport Copy – First and last page

4. Status in Canada – Study Permit / Work Permit / Visitor Record / PR Card with Landing Paper
   If expired, attach the extension letter or acknowledgment

5. Marital Status Documentation

   • If Married:

     • Marriage Certificate (required only if your passport does not mention your spouse’s name)

     • Spouse’s Passport (first and last page) – only if their name is not on your passport

   • If Divorced:

     • Divorce Certificate as official proof of marital status

6. Indian Address Proof – Indian Driving License / Aadhar Card / Voter ID / Relative’s address proof with declaration
   Not required if the Indian passport's last page contains the correct current Indian address

7. Canadian Address Proof – Driving License / Government-issued Photo ID / Utility Bill

9. Photographs (2x2 inches)

• Two recent passport-size photos with white background

• One photo must be pasted on the application form

• Specifications: White background (no borders), dark-colored clothes, eyes open, shoulders visible

🔴 Important Notes:

• Original Indian Passport must be submitted along with the application.

• All photocopies submitted must be self-attested by the applicant.

Who is not Eligible for Adult Passport Tatkaal

1. Change of appearance/signature

2. Short time validity passport (If your current passport is valid just only 2 years or 5years, then you're not eligible. As for adults the current Indian passport validity should be 10 years.

3. Adding or deleting spouse name.
