Why we need attestation, what is the role for attestation? If you or you're friends or family live abroad and want to sell property or provide authorization to somebody to fullfiil the needs for the court proceedings then you need the attestation.

Currently Consulate general of India, Canada is not doing any further attestation for the Apostille documents. They are only doing for the Indian Passport holders in Canada.
What are the document required for Attestation at BLS Internationals:
Notarized Power of attorney (POA) / Affidavit (Notary can be done by any Canadian Lawyer)
Indian Passport, Incase of Refugee CBSA stamp is required on Indian passport.
Status in Canada, If the status is expired then attach the extension letter. As on applied status you are eligible to attest the document.
Address Proof in Canada (Phone bill, bank statement and cheques are not acceptable)
How many photo copies required?
POA 2 copies (Excluding the Original)
Indian Passport 3 copies
Status 3 copies
Address proof 3 copies
